CEREC
One of the technologies we offer that we are most excited about is CEREC, a system that allows us to make customized restorations right here in our own office while you wait! Be eliminating the need for a dental lab in most cases, you are able to get your restoration quickly and you don't have to deal with messy impressions or temporary restorations. Each restoration is crafted to your exact specifications and is designed to blend in beautifully with your existing dentistry.
Digital X-rays
X-rays are a crucial piece of dental diagnostics. We use x-rays to see below the surface of your teeth and gums. This allows us to see the extent of a problem – or even find one in the earliest stages so that we can treat it promptly and comfortably using conservative, less invasive techniques.
Digital x-rays differ from traditional film x-rays in quite a few ways, which all benefit you!
- While film-based dental x-rays already used a low dose of radiation, digital x-rays use up to 80% less.
- Digital x-rays are ready for viewing almost immediately as there is no need to develop the film.
- Since no chemicals are needed for development, digital x-rays are better for the environment.
- The sensor that goes in your mouth for digital x-rays is smaller and more comfortable than in film x-rays.
- Because the image is viewed on a computer screen, we can expand, zoom in, and highlight areas of the image to discuss any findings and plan treatment with you.
- Your images become a part of your electronic record so that we can pull them up and compare changes or track development.
- We can easily send images electronically to other providers as needed – a huge benefit for our snowbird patients! This allows for easy care coordination with other health care providers or specialists.

We've changed over from paper to digital files, which makes keeping track of your dental records so much simpler!
When you arrive, we can pull up your electronic record from our files and have it ready to go. Because all your treatment notes and digital images are incorporated right into your file, we can easily find the information we need in an instant for faster, more efficient care. Plus, eliminating paper is better for the environment and allows us to make full use of the space of our office, instead of having to devote a good chunk of space for file storage.
Our digital system is completely secure and cannot be accessed from outside the office.
